After being part of the talented DJ duo Modus Operandi for 10 years, Jonas launched his solo project in 2019, He chose to do so under his own name with the main reason to create more individuality in his productions and mixes. Jonas Dufrasne is a DJ & producer from Belgium, who is mostly known for his happy vibes and melodic sound. One of the many things he’s always capable of converting into his productions and guest mixes are the modern and melodic twist.

For him, vigour, deepness and emotions go hand in hand in a very musical way. Host of his own ‘Artemis tapes’ , where he unfolds his capabilities in extraordinary mixes, being a brilliant graphic designer with his own stubborn approach. Host of the sensational ‘Jonas Dufrasne LIVE’ series, where he’s always looking for new and unique locations, you can say this guy knows where he’s heading. With fantastic releases on Papaya and Wanderlust Music Music by Pretty Pink it’s only a matter of time for his next melodic masterpiece will be released.? As if all this is not enough he has started his own label called Humming Bird. Records where natural sounds and unusual instruments play the leading role. He combines his DJ sets with live electronic drum pads and midi fighters to still make that touch of difference in the crowd, offering his audience that little bit extra.

In 2024, he kicked off his “As If” promo tour in Belgium, all about his new release and the start of a new journey.

His upcoming work will drop under Alex Medina’s label, Mumbai Records. His tracks were also picked up by studio brussel where he was personally invited several times for a live broadcast.

He was chosen as a finalist for the extrema outdoor DJ contest and has already played at Pukkelpop, Secret Garden, Labyrinth Club, Charlatan Gent, Cirque Magique, Ostend Beach, Genk On Stage, Decafeina, Cafeina, Klank Muzik, Rumba Leuven, Pleinpubliek, Belgian Week (FR), Malysia (FR), PAPAYA (SP), Summer Club Eden (NL), Dj Lab (NL), PIXL Club (NL) and is a resident at Café AprO Leuven, AFTR, AFTRSUN Festival & BLOQ Events.
